Carman P. June 84 of Steubenville, Ohio died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Dixon Health Care Center, Wintersville, Ohio. He was born on January 22, 1919 a son of the late Joseph and Rita Latara June. Carman was a buyer for the former Denmarks of Steubenville and was manager of the Weirton store when he retired. He was a member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church, Steubenville Elks Lodge 231, Cadiz Country Club and an Army veteran of WWII. Carman was a volunteer at St. John Medical Center, now Trinity West. He was preceded in death by his wife Clariece “Cree” Hambelton June; one daughter Bonita Rae June; four brothers Michael, Anthony, Rocco and Daniel June; and two sisters Rose M. Kunicki and Mary Barilla. Surviving are his son Carman “Rick” (wife Paula) June of Wintersville, one grandson Matthew (wife Laurie) June; one granddaughter Jayme Klinesmith; and seven great grandchildren Mitchell, D.J., Rachael, Paige, R.J., Marissa and Julie. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Thursday 7-9 and Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with Rev. Susan Haseltine officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Tony Teramana Cancer Center.
