Obituary For Carma L. Mills

Carma L. Mills, 87, of East Springfield, Ohio passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Trinity West. She was born May 30, 1929 in Amsterdam, OH a daughter of the late John and Flossie Speicher Gregor. Carma was a member of United Methodist Church of the Cross in East Springfield. She was a nurse at the former Ohio Valley Hospital where she worked in surgery and the ER. After working at the former Ohio Valley Hospital, Carma worked as a nurse for Head Start, as a private duty nurse and then a visiting nurse before retiring from Edison Local Schools as the school nurse. Carma was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Preceding Carma in death were her husband Glenn L. Mills; son Dr. James Mills and eleven siblings. Surviving are her children Lynda (Tom) Petty of Lewis Center, OH, Nancy (Ron) Smyth of Bloomingdale, OH, Carma (Paul) Clarke of Mineral City, OH, Mary (Chuck) Price of Richmond, OH and Glenn (Kelly) Mills of Lewis Center, OH; thirteen grandchildren Billy Mills, Sarah (Jason) Ensinger, Whitney (Nick) Porter, Jim (Jennifer) Mills, Mathew Clarke, Kimberie (Aaron) Richardson, Eric Price, Mark Smyth, Hannah Mills, Luke Mills, Andrew Price, Glenn Joe Mills and Jacob Mills and four great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Friday 5 – 8 p.m. where a service will be held Saturday 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Gaston officiating. Burial at East Springfield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to United Methodist Church of the Cross, P. O. Box 6 East Springfield, OH 43925.
