Carlos L. Byers, 83 of Urichsville, Ohio died Monday, October 13, 2003 at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio. He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on March 4, 1920. He was preceded in death by his wife Mildred. Carlos was a retired US Army Major and a minister affiliated with the Church of God. Surviving are his son Charles "Bud" (Nancy) Byers of Kenosha, Wisconsin; one granddughter; three brothers Louis, Lee and Bill Byers; two sisters Luella Frownfelter and Betty Weber; several nieces and nephews. Services and entombment were held on Thursday, October 16 at Fort Steuben Burial Estates with Rev. John Beard. officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
