Carl V. Simone, 84, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Valley Hospice. He was born on March 8, 1937 in Steubenville, the son of the late Thomas & Margaret Testa Simone. He retired from TIMET. Carl was preceded in death by an infant son Joseph and uncle Michael “Mikey” Simone.
Carl loved hunting, fishing, restoring old cars and OSU football.
Carl is survived by his wife Yvonne M. Barach Simone; son Tom (Sherry) Simone of Powell, OH; daughter Lisa (Jim) Daly of Harrisburg, NC; grandchildren Elizabeth Daly and Allison & Amanda Simone; sister Antonia “Cookie” Karamanolis and cousin Theresa Milliken.
Per his request, private services and burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Hospital OR DAV.org
