Carl Kroskey, 79, of Wintersville died Thursday, April 19, 2007. Carl was born June 9, 1927 in Follansbee, WV a son of the late Joseph S. and Eva Meno Kroskey. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, IBEW electrical union and a WWII Army veteran. Carl retired from WTOV Channel 9 as a camera man/film editor. Carl is survived by his wife Irene L. Prisbylla Kroskey; two sons Carl Jeffrey (Saundra) Kroskey of Grove City, OH and Dale (Kelly) Kroskey of Fayetteville, GA; and one granddaughter Alyssa Kroskey. Friends may call Sunday 3-6 p.m. at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville. Funeral Liturgy with mass will be celebrated Monday 9:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Vigil Service Sunday 5:45 p.m. Burial at Fort Steuben. Memorial donations may be directed to Blessed Sacrament.

Hello, I am sorry to hear about Mr kroskeys passing,it has been so many years since I last saw him, I can remember many man years ago him playing with carl and I down inthe back yard,we would be climbing trees and he would pretend not to see us than act really surprisd when he did. I haven't been in touch with anyone from teh old neighborhood for many years and this saddens me also. I wish you the best of health and all in these trying times. john harris
