June, Nanci, Patty and Doug, words can't truly express how very sad we are because of Brian's death. Memories of dear friends in our old neighborhood just don't fade through the years. We met Brian on a cold evening in Dec., 1972, when we moved into 321. He came knocking on our door to find out if we had "any boys" he could play with. We let him know we did and that he could come back the next day to meet him and play. The rest is history. All of our kids grew up together and bonded and still share a special relationship from having lived on Garden Drive for 20-25-30 years. Sullivans, Johnstons, Brokaws, Bostons, and Lamatrices, had 15 children among them- of all ages- and in one way or another, either through memories or continued contacts, they are still "related" to this day. We send our love and very deepest sympathy. We will continue to have warm thoughts and broad smiles when remembering Brian. Love to all of the Sullivan and Gosney families. Liz and Lou

My deepest condolences to the family. I was a childhood friend of Brian's, living on Garden Drive in Wintersville. I have childhood memories with him and recently reconnected with him through FaceBook. I am so sorry to hear about this. I live out of town and can't make it in town for the funeral, but know you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

My condolences to all of Brian's family and friends. I have known Brian since junior high but haven't seen him too much over the last 15 years or so. Whenever I ran into him though he would always stop to talk and catch up. I am glad I got to talk to him last week. Rest in Peace Sull.

I served with Sully at the 911th in Pgh. He was a character. I met him post 911 and he always called me "Molly". He worked hard and he played hard. When it came to the mission he was all about getting it done. We were on many tours together and he was really proud of his accomplishments. We have lost a number of comrades this past year. Sully's passing is very sad. Sorry I cannot be there to say goodbye but the memories will last forever.

Condolences to the extended Sullivan family. I remember Brian so well from our childhood. Recently, I had the opportunity to see him and chat with him about his extensive life experiences in the military. He left me with quite an impression of the extent of his travels and military service. He will be missed.
