Blanche Dolores Householder, age 91, of Altamonte Springs, Florida passed away to her heavenly Father June 29, 2016. She was born Oct. 7, 1924 in Mingo Junction, OH and raised on the Reisling Farm, moving to central Florida in 1957 and residing there for the past 59 years. Blanche was the daughter of the late Lewis C. & Lena M. Schultz and the wife of the late Thomas J. Householder. She was a devoted wife and mother. Blanche was dedicated to her church, The Altamonte Community Church, working with the Chapel Guild for many decades in Christian fellowship. Blanche is survived by her daughter, Janice McKinnon; grandchildren, Ryan and Julie McKinnon; great grandson, Nolan McKinnon; and nieces and nephews she dearly loved. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 from 10a.m. until time of services at 11a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial to follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Altamonte Chapel, 825 E. Altamonte Dr., Altamonte Springs., Florida 32701.
