Billy W. Nicholson 77 of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Trinity West ER. He was born in Mingo Junction on April 22, 1927 a son of the late Clifford W. and Cora Ann Perine Nicholson. He worked in the coal mines as a deep mine driller. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Betty Bickerstaff Nicholson, daughter Mary Jane Brown, two sisters and a brother. He is survived by sons Clifford W. Nicholson of Mingo Junction and William (Donna) Nicholson of Adena, OH, daughter Carol Sue Van Kirk, sisters Mary Adams and May Morris, both of Mingo Junction, 10 grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at New Alexandria Cemetery with Rev. Sam Retzer officiating.
