Beverly Alexis (White) Brister, 66, of Steubenville Ohio passed away at her home on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was born November 2, 1945 in Steubenville, the daughter of the late Alex and June White. Preceded in death by her brother Reverend William White, she leaves one son, Roger Brister (Rachael) and three grandchildren Gavin, Maxwell, and Abigail. She also leaves two brothers, Tom White (Kay) of Otway Ohio and Coy White (Liz) of Dublin. Beverly attended Steubenville High School and was formerly employed as a health aid at various nursing homes in Ohio. Her great pleasure was traveling with her caring and close late cousin Virginia Burkett. She loved visits with her brothers, son, grandchildren, and friends. During her childhood, the family attended Finley UM Church and most recently her life was filled with worship with her extended family at Faith and Powers Deliverance Church. She will be missed by all her family and friends. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave Funeral Home) 611 N 4th St., Steubenville on Tuesday from 12:30 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM with her pastor, Reverend Fred McShan officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
