Betty Lou Taylor 74 of Steubenville, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 24, 2005. She was born in Cameron, WV on August 19, 1930 a daughter of the late Thomas and Dora Harn Pierson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Betty was the retired owner/operator of Taylor’s Hollywood Restaurant on S. Fourth Street in Steubenville. She was preceeded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Betty is survived by her husband Ralph W. Taylor, Sr. whom she married on June 27, 1946; five sons Robert (Pam) Taylor of Richmond, Ohio, Jerry L. (Trish) Taylor of Columbus, Ohio, Ronald L. (Linda) Taylor, Sr. of Toronto, Ohio, Ralph W. (Patricia) Taylor, Jr. of Steubenville, and Timothy J. (Michelle) Taylor Toronto, Ohio; four daughters Betty Eileen (Roy Sr.) Arbogast of East Springfield, Nancy K. Surgenor of Tempe, Arizona, and Joyce A. Taylor and Patricia S. Taylor both of Steubenville; 27 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Friends may call at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 2305 State Route 213, Steubenville on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. with Pastor Tommy Mills officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. The Taylor Family suggests memorial contributions be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or Pleasant Hill Vol. Fire Dept.
