Betty Lou Baker 71 of Wellsburg, WV died Thursday, June 19, 2003 at Trinity West. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on July 29, 1931. Betty Lou was a retired cook from the former St. John Medical Center with 28 years service. She was a Lutheran by faith and was preceded in death by her husband Charles E. Baker on November 12, 1992 and one brother Jerry Monigold. Surviving are two sons Charles F. “Chuck” Baker of Wintersville, Ohio and Gary L. (Debra) Baker of Bloomingdale, Ohio; one daughter Bonnie Baker of Wintersville; her parents Harry and Katie Fuzy Monigold of Richmond, Ohio; three brothers George “Bud” Monigold of Arizona, John E. (Helen) Monigold of Torrance, CA and Harry (Ethel) Monigold of Richmond; two sisters Pat DeCesare of Wintersville and Kathleen “Cookie” Fellows of Richmond; one granddaughter Misty Barnes of Wintersville and her loving companion Andy Mechling of Wellsburg, WV. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 2-4 and from 6 p.m. until time of services at 8 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Susan Haseltine officiating. Private burial.
