Aunt Betty was a very Special Lady.  She was always so very pleasant.  I remember when I was a kid, Aunt Betty and Uncle Spike would go to the stock car races with our family.  Bobby and Eddie and Skip and Floyd would wear read pants and white shirts with red X 100 on them for Uncle Spikes race car.  I can remember all the picnics we would go on and the ball games played.  She will be sadly missed by me.  I remember when my mom passed she came up to me and said I don't know if you remember me but I am Betty Woods.  I told her I could never forget her, and I couldn't, she was one of a kind. Now she is with Uncle Spike once again.  They were such a special couple. God Bless them and watch over them.

R.I.P Betty. I'll always remember the years we've spent together as neighbors. You were a great lady loved by many.

Bob, Ed, and family, I am so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was such a nice lady, and loved my kids so dearly when they were young. You two were raised by wonderful parents! I pray God grants His peace during this sad time.

A multitude of warm memories come to mind about Betty.  We lived several days drive away, but she always made a person feel so welcome. She had a wonderful, unique laugh, twinkling eyes, and a welcoming smile.  She was a striking woman who was not just pretty on the outside.  Her strong Christian faith helped build the bedrock of her union with Spike and created a nurturing foundation for her sons to grow and succeed. Wisdom and practicality always framed her advice, support, and hard work.  She listened well, taking time to fully comprehend a situation.  She was not afraid to ask questions, even the hard ones.  She was always a welcoming, generous, and gracious hostess. Talent also extended to breath-taking quilting and decorating her inviting home.        My husband, her nephew, remembers bike rides with his cousins, Bob and Eddie, around Fernwood hills culminating with her wonderful dinners served by a gracious, warm Aunt Betty.  Other times, he was an impatient little guy sitting in the car with them and his own mom  at a drive-in watching a movie about some piano player who dressed very oddly.      We always looked forward to her nostalgic Christmas cards which looked like they were out of Currier and Ives with the caring comments that helped us return "home" in our hearts. She had a life well-lived, but her passing is a great loss.  Harry and Rose Woods

Bob and Darlene,Please accept our sincere sympathy on the passing of your Mother.  I don't recall having the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Woods, but she sounds like a cherished Mother and friend.

I knew Betty when we both worked at Hart's Family Center. Betty was a kind and caring person who was always smiling. She was a conscientious worker and her housewares department was proof of that. Please accept my sympathy for your loss as I know she was a great mother to her family.
