Betty and Bill Crosier were two of the finest and most supportive people within the Steubenville family. They welcomed a young coach into their home and supported Big Red Wrestling in every way possible. For that support I will be forever indebted to them.To the family you have our deepest condolences. With Love John and Cathy Craig Myrtle Beach, SC

What a blessing and honor it was to have been able to spend almost every day of the last few years with Betty, my little side kick. She had such a grand heart for those in need and was a great listener! She loved reading her paper and kept herself and her living space in neat and orderly fashion. She loved listening to her Big Bands and the Andrew Sisters and reminiscing about the good old days of dancing and the road trips with her friends. I thoroughly enjoyed our own road trips as I would chauffeur her to where ever her heart desired ..to DQ in Weirton even though Steubenville had one, to see her friend or downtown for the chicken salad, and once to Barnsville after her son had surgery to bring him some soup as she rubbed his back. She loved her chocolates from Cleveland Malleys and her baked goods and daily cup of tea, but most of all she loved her children! ALL of them, from her own, grands, great grands, great great grand babies to all those that passed through her lunch line at school. There is so much I could say about this incredibly lovely woman and the beautiful family she raised and I will say ...that I will treasure those moments with her in my heart forever. You will be greatly missed, dear friend and one day I hope to see you again and actually get to see you dance! I love you Betty♡

Your mom used to take me to all the wrestling tournaments with her. She made me feel like part of your family. I can remember us going to Rose's restaurant in Martins Ferry in between rounds of wrestling. Such great memories of being with her. My condolences to your family.

Betty, along with Bill,, were instrumental in building our wrestling program to the state level. Shewas a devoted school employee and was well received by the students, teachers and parents. Shewas a classic example of the greatest generation contributor. God less her!
