Betty Jane Monney 79, a lifelong resident of Steubenville passed away Sunday, March 30, 2003 at Trinity East, Steubenville, Ohio after a brief illness. She was born in Steubenville on June 22, 1923 a daughter of the late George M. and Elizabeth J. Niederhuber Monney. Betty was a member of Finley U.M. Church, Willing Workers Sunday School Class, Morris-Schultz Missionary Circle, Sunset Club and president of Young At Hearts. She was preceded in death by two brothers Ernest and Bernard Tillman. Betty is the sister of Clarence “Jake” Monney and the aunt of Susan Monney both of Florida. Other survivors include several cousins including Patsy Monney of Steubenville; Robert and David Reisling and special aunt Helen Reisling all of Columbus, Ohio, niece Carole Brenchak of Huntington, CT, nephew B. William Tillman of Houston, Texas and very special friends Jane and Carl Myers of Steubenville. Friends are invited to attend services at 10 a.m. Monday at Finley Church with Rev. P.
