Betty J. Wilson, 86, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Trinity West. She was born November, 9, 1922 in Steubenville, OH to the late George K. and Elizabeth W. Meinzen Harris. Preceded in death by her husband J. Edward Wilson ; three brothers and one sister. She retired from the Steubenville City School District as a clerk and held church membership at Zion United Church of Christ, Steubenville; life member of Woman’s Club of Steubenville and Jefferson Co. Historical Association; Martha Manor Board; YWCA and a graduate of Steubenville High School class of 1940.Betty is survived by her daughter Jayne Wilson-Zavacky and her husband Terry of Steubenville. Private gravesite services will be held at Union Cemetery.
