Betty E. Dayton, 81, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Sunday November 2, 2008 in Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. She was born December 26, 1926 in Bowerston, Ohio a daughter of the late Charles R. and Margaret Jane Hines Harris. Preceding Betty in death was her sister Alice Woods. Surviving are her husband Charles D. Dayton; son Kenneth (Bonnie) Dayton of Bloomingdale, OH; daughter Rita K. (Richard) Butler of Bloomingdale, OH; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where a service will be held Thursday 10 a.m. with Rev. Hubert Granger officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.

Rita and family I am so sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was always good to me when you and I were teenagers- gee that was long ago but I have not forgotten how nice your parents were to me.
