Beth Ann Brobston Postlewait, 63, of Hopedale, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. We lost her after a courageous battle with kidney failure due to complications of diabetes. She fought this for many years. She was born September 8, 1957 in Steubenville, a daughter of the late Arch T. & Marie E. Miller Brobston. She was a member of Unionport Christian Church and worked at M&M Hardware. Preceding Beth in death were two infant sons Charles Arch & Terry Ritchie Postlewait.
Beth was a loving, caring, beautiful, faithful wife of 43 years, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She was a loving caregiver to her husband, children, family and friends. Beth so enjoyed having sleepovers with her grandkids. Spent a lot of hours singing in the choir and volunteering at church, especially with the youth. She loved cooking and baking for her family and friends especially around the holidays and family gatherings. She enjoyed flowers, gardening and canning and spending time at Guilford Lake and fishing in her younger years. Amish country was a big favorite to visit as well. She will greatly missed by all who knew her.
Beth is survived by her husband Jesse Frederick Postlewait II; daughters Amber (Joey Lucas) Postlewait & Melissa Postlewait; six grandchildren Lawrence Drake, Tyler & Madelyn Lucas, Sabrina, Erica & Chasity Whitacre; three siblings Susan (John) Rayl, Dennis (Teresa) Brobston & Randy (Debbie) Brobston; and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Harrison County EMS, DCI, Trinity West staff and CVU floor aides and nurses, Terry DeHamer and to all of the many physicians who cared for her over the last several years. Most of all we want to thank God for the many blessings, answered prayers and for blessing our family with such a special woman. To all of those who have showed concern, prayers, phone calls and cards, our family would like to thank you from the bottom of our heart. May God Bless you all, The Postlewaits.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. with Evangelist Mark McDonald officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
