Bertha was a wonderful to us and our children when we lived in Steubenville. We enjoyed many special times with her and her sister, Flossie, at the Federal Terrace. Even after that era, she remained a good friend, always enquiring about the children and grandchildren, helping us with flowers and plants when she worked at DiGregorys, remembering our birthdays and anniversaries. She loved her family and spoke often of you. You have our deepest sympathy.

The community has lost a real gentlewoman. It would be hard to find anyone nicer than she was. .
