Bert F. Hall, 81, of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Friday, April 13, 2007 at Trinity West ER. He was born March 5, 1926 in Roane County, WV a son of the late Peter B. and Retta M. Brannon Hall. He was a retired carpenter for Hall Construction and a member of Colonial Baptist Church. Bert served in the Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. Preceding Bert in death were his first wife Betty Mae Rhodes Hall; two sons Carroll Eugene Hall & Patrick Hall; grandson Seth Hall; brother Bernard Hall and two sisters Nina Caplan & Ada Robinson. Surviving are his wife Betty G. Owen Hall; four sons David Hall of Bluefield, WV, Roger Hall of Scottsbluff, NE, Bradley Hall of Akron, OH & Tim Hall of Ripley, WV; daughter Donna Hawkins of St. Mary’s, WV; four stepchildren Edna (Miki) Kinsey and Margaret Nemeth both of Wintersville, Betty Jane Robbins of Bloomingdale & Gary Borham of Burgettstown, PA; 7 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and 2 sisters Faye Bourgeois & Vaye Mitchell. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Monday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. with Pastor Hubert Granger & Rev. Randy Sells officiating. Burial services 1 p.m. Tuesday at Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley, WV with Minister Brent Dewees presiding.
