Bernice E. Keenan 88 of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, October 28, 2004 at Country Club Manor. She was born in Ellsworth, Pennsylvania on February 11, 1916 a daughter of the late Daniel and Matilda Farbaugh Sullivan. Bernice was a retired registered nurse at Miners Hospital, Spangler, PA and a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. Preceding Bernice in death were her husband Charles T. Keenan in 1992; one great grandson, brother Joseph Sullivan; and two sisters Thelma Craver and Claireann Sharbaugh. Bernice is survived by two sons Dr. Daniel (Dr. Dianne) Keenan of Steubenville and Attorney James (Julie) Keenan of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one brother Thomas Sullivan; and four sisters Olean Biller, Delrose Vogel, Theola Wellen and Betsy Ertter. Friends are invited to attend a funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peters Church with Msgr. George Yontz officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
