I grew up with Bernie and Skip on Sheep Rock Road, and I have many memories of all of us ice skating on my Dad's farm. My mom, Virginia, always liked Bernie. If my memory serves me correctly, I think he gave her one of his projects from shop class at school. He was one of her favorites. I am so sorry for your loss.

I knew Bernie when he lived in Steubenville. I worked at Urban Mission Ministries, Inc. at that time and he and I became good friends. Even though Bernie liked to tip the bottle I can say he was one of the sweetest people I have met. He had a sense of humor that was wonderful. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing. But I am sure I know where he is now and he could not be in a better place. Prayers for his family as you travel through this time of grief.
