Barry L. “Snake” Jobe, 66, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at Trinity West. He was born July 6, 1946 in El Paso, Texas a son of the late Willy and Ora King Jobe. He was a truck driver for many years driving for Swartz Trucking. He was preceded in death by a son Phillip Jobe and a brother Bobby Jobe. Surviving are his wife Grace Jobe of Steubenville, OH; three daughters Charmaine Jobe of Steubenville, OH, Adena (Zheng) Huang of Lakeland, FL and Felisha Jobe of Steubenville, OH; step-son Daniel Saunders of Mingo Junction, OH; four grandchildren Lazaun Jobe and Sidney, Tre and Taylor Huang; two brothers Billy Jobe of Las Cruces, NM and Gary Jobe of El Paso, TX and sister Brenda Clarkston of Kingsport, TN. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating.

JUST TO SAY THIS WAS SUCH A SHOCK, THE FAMILY HAD LOST CONTACT WITH ME AFTER MY HUSBAND DIED IN 2010 AND MY BROTHER GARY FOUND THIS OBIT ON THE INTERNET.. HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO REACH ANY FAMILY MEMBER.. SO SORRY THAT WE GOT DISCONNECTED, BARRY AND I WERE ALWAYS GOOD PALS GROWING UP AND WE WOULD VISIT BACK AND FORTH FOR A LONG TIME.. BUT LOST EACH OTHER... LOVE TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS. WE WILL ALL MISS HIM DEARLY..
