Obituary For Barry E. Grant

Barry E. Grant, 45, of Toronto, Ohio died Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Jefferson County Sportsman’s Club. He was born August 23, 1969 in Steubenville, Ohio. Barry was a member of Jefferson County Sportsman’s Club and Toronto Eagles. He worked as a journeyman pipefitter for Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 495. Preceding Barry in death were his maternal grandparents John and Marie Patrick; paternal grandfather George Grant and paternal grandmother Margaret Reese. Surviving are two daughters Melinda Ann and Brooke Amber Grant both of Steubenville, OH; mother Kathryn M. Patrick Scott of Richmond, OH; father George Thomas (Carolyn) Grant of Steubenville, OH; three sisters Mathia (Anthony) Porco of Steubenville, OH, Kathy (Tom) Swartzentruber of Uhrichsville, OH and Michelle (Timothy) Taylor of Toronto, OH; three brothers Brian (Bridgete) Grant of Toronto, OH, Gregory Grant of Richmond, OH and George Thomas Grant, Jr. of Hawaii and nine nieces and nephews Tony Porco, Mara Porco, Kristen Nelson, Kelsey Nelson, Cody Linn, Taylor Linn, Tabatha Taylor, Tataina Grant and Tiana Grant. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville Thursday 2 – 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. where a service will be held Friday 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Sells officiating. Burial at Island Creek Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to his daughter Melinda Ann Grant, 240 East Road, Toronto, OH 43964.
