Barbara Joanne Cheesebrew, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on January 3, 2025. Barbara was born April 26, 1933 in Steubenville the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine Esther Geisse Shock. She attended Steubenville High School and lived most of her life in Steubenville and Bloomingdale, Ohio.

Barbara was quite active in her children’s school activities by helping at the concession stand or as a talented seamstress sewing cheerleading outfits. She also enjoyed crafting, gardening and cooking. Barbara loved traveling to visit her children in different parts of the country. She was a member of the Lady’s Shriners Club.

Barbara is survived by her husband Jack; children Cynthia (Tom) Warwick, Deborah (Tom) Pollard, Jacqueline Cheesebrew, Kimberly (Shawn) Crosier, Leslie (Ron) Roberts and Brian (Terri) Cheesebrew; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
