Barbara Jean Huff, 79, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Valley Haven in Beech Bottom, WV. She was born September 5, 1939 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late Charles M. & Alberta Weaver Moore, Jr. She was a retired bus driver for the School of Bright Promise. Barb was a 60 year active member of Belvedere Volunteer Fire Dept, serving as, charter member of Ladies Auxiliary, an EMT; Bingo director and treasurer, fish fry chairman and recipient of the department’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. Preceding Barbara in death were her husband Harry E. Huff, Jr. (1991); daughter Pamela Martin (1996); sisters Ruth Isaac & Fay Steele. Barbara is survived by her two daughters Anita (Richard) Ankrum of Wintersville & Patricia (Larry) Sneathen of Bloomingdale; son Alan Huff of Goose Creek, SC; two granddaughters Sabrina (Josh) Evans of Lakewood, CO & Brittany (Doug) Van Horn of Mingo Junction; and two great grandchildren Samantha & Hunter Van Horn. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday 5-8 p.m. where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Rev. Frank Rogers officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery.
