Barbara D. Layman, 72, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday October 12, 2024 at Trinity Medical Center West. Barbara was born April 8, 1952 in Steubenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Robert & Barbara Brandt Blackburn. She worked many years in the Accounting department for Biggio/Team Ford in Steubenville. Barbara enjoyed her retirement to the fullest. She spent most of her time with her grandchildren and the past 20 years fishing and going to car shows and festivals with Don.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Layman, Sr. on October 31, 1996 and brother Robert Blackburn. She is survived by her four sons Robert (Tara), Charles (Cindy), Fred (Jennifer) & Troy (Jackie) Layman; longtime companion Don Mossor; 13 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Wednesday. The funeral service will begin at 5 p.m. with Rev. William Westling officiating, followed by visitation until 7 p.m. Private burial at Bloomingdale Cemetery.
