Obituary For Barbara C. Norris

Barbara C. Norris, 83, of Concord, NC, formerly of Steubenville, OH died Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Valley Haven, Beech Bottom, WV. She was born June 28, 1936 in Steubenville a daughter of the late Harry J. & Vernie Stilla VanKirk. She was a 1955 graduate of Steubenville High School. Preceding Barbara in death were her husband Floyd “Bob” Norris and several siblings.

Barbara is survived by her children Floyd “Lee” Norris of Wintersville, Linda Coleman of Wellsburg, WV, Leslie “Sue” Norris of Hopedale, OH, Lisa (John) Lancaster of Concord, NC, Leah (Rick) Tingler of Beech Bottom, Dolores “Peaches” (John) Yoders of Mt. Pleasant, NC & Norma (Shane) Potter of Newark, OH; grandson Clay Norris whom she raised as her own son; many grandchildren & great grandchildren; and sister Delores Leas of Steubenville, OH.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday 5-7 p.m.; where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Herb Fletcher officiating. Burial at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
