Connie, Your mom was such a special person that I will always cherish and hold fond memories of her close and dear to my heart. She was like having another mom who enjoyed playing with us indoors and outdoors: Hiking through the woods, making barbie clothes with the sewing machine for us to play with, teaching us hoola-hoop, walking on tin cans, jacks, teeter-totter,catching lighting bugs, lighting my sprinkler on the 4th of July, picking berries with us in your backyard, building your treehouse and watching us play in it, swimming in your backyard pool, making fried bread dough...YUM!, making hot chocolate in the winter after slid riding, teaching us how to say we were sorry when you and I would fight, mending my cuts and scrapes when I was clumsy, and whenever there was an opportunity to help a poor abandoned animal, she nursed and heeled them back to health, then returned them back to the wild. She always had an infectious laugh that made me laugh even when I was in a bad mood. She will be sadly missed by all, and I am just thankful that she was a part of my life when I was growing up.

Connie, We will miss your mother. I have such fond memories of her from growing up...hikes in the woods, sandwiches on the porch, swimming in the cistern "pool", fireworks. She even darned my socks once because I had a hole. She was a wonderful person. Jeanine

Connie, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I grew up with her on Sinclair Ave. My maiden name was Vandine. We had alot of fun playing in the creek together catching salamanders and she especailly liked catching snakes and putting them in a jar. She was a great person then and even though we lost touch over the years, I will always have great memories of her.

As a boy growing up in Overlook Hills, I remember Arly as a neighbor. After growing up, I got to know Arly as a friend who always took the time to say "Hello" and chat about the days gone by. She will be missed. Connie, my sincerest condolences go out to you. God bless.

Connie, Your Mom was a wonderful person. She always looked out for all of us and taught us so much. I keep remembering so many wonderful times with her - teaching me how to butter toast so I didn't crush the bread, our Moms making homemade noodles and pierogies on the kitchen table, fireworks, how she got rid of the "black panther" I was so terrified of and so many more. She truly cared for everyone and will be greatly missed. I know she's still with you and watching over us from heaven. Love, Becky (Brian and Bailey, too)
