Audrey Criss, 92, of Steubenville, Ohio died Friday, August 31, 2007 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care. She was born March 5, 1915 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Charles and Gertrude Gallagher. Audrey was a member of Wintersville United Methodist Church, Cypress Twig, Woman’s Club of Steubenville and LaBelle Chapter 414 O.E.S. Preceding Audrey in death were her husband Rex Criss and two sisters Dorothy Beckett and Geraldine Murray. Surviving are two sons Charles (Nancy) Criss of Pittsburgh, PA and Rex (Bert) Criss of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren Susan and Mike Criss; one great grandchild and sister Ethel (John) Scott. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where a service will be held Tuesday 10 a.m. with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be directed to Valley Hospice.
