Audley E. “Gene” Tolley, 85 of Wintersville died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Trinity West. He was born in Steubenville on May 28, 1925 a son of the late Sidney G. and Beulah U. Brunns Tolley. Gene was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel. He was a U.S Navy veteran of WWII. Member of Steubenville Masonic Lodge 45 F& AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Steubenville. Gene was preceded in death by his wife Alice M. Critser Tolley; son Ronald G. Tolley and brother Albert E. Tolley. He is survived by his son Kenneth (Bernadette) Tolley of Wintersville; daughter Phyllis Kuntz of Steubenville; sister Margaret Parker of California; sister-in-law Dorothy Tolley of Steubenville; three step children; grandchildren Kevin (Tracy) Kuntz and Amy (Larry) Tracy both of Akron, OH; 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH Thursday from 5-8p.m., where funeral services will be held Friday 10a.m. with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben Burial Estates. Masonic services Thursday 7:45p.m.
