Armand Joseph Constantine, Jr., age 86, of Wintersville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Armand is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Ina Mae Constantine, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and happiness. Their marriage was a true testament to enduring love and devotion. He is also survived by his beloved daughters: Maria Lucas (Patrick Due), Deborah Carbonaro (Michael Carbonaro), and Stacy Constantine (James Balvin).
He was a proud and loving grandfather to Ben Salata (Kristen), Anthony "A.J." Lucas (Ellen), Ronald “Joey” Sczruba (Brittany), Shayna Timbrook (Dylan), Nicholas Carbonaro, and Michael Carbonaro, Jr., as well as six great-grandchildren (Camilla, Annalynn, Hailey, Teegan, Ethan & Gabriella) who brought him immense joy.
Armand loved his entire family with every ounce of his being. He was the most loving and caring person, a fact reflected in the many cherished friends who surrounded him throughout his life. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone he met.
He poured his heart into his work as a Union Steward at Weirton Steel and took great pride in standing up for others. Armand also proudly served his country in the United States
Army as a Vietnam Veteran. He continued his dedication to service through many years with The American Legion Post #557.
In his free time, Armand enjoyed golfing and playing cards with his lifelong friends. His favorite pastime, however, was sitting on his patio, laughing with family, and listening to the oldies—simple moments that meant the most to him. He will be remembered for his loving nature and his favorite saying, “That is TOTAL BS” especially on the golf course!
There are truly no words to capture the number of lives Armand touched. He gave of himself freely and unconditionally, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio, on Monday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Additional visitation on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Groos officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
