Arliss E. “Buddy” Freeman, Jr., 53, of Wintersville, Ohio, died Saturday, March 30, 2013 at his home. He was born May 7, 1959 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Arliss E. and May Davis Freeman, Sr. Buddy worked as a parts salesman at Napa Auto Parts on Canton Road in Wintersville. He was a member of Steubenville Rifle and Pistol Club. He loved his guns and working on cars. Buddy was loved and adored by everyone and loved spending time with his grandkids. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Preceding Buddy in death was a brother Joseph Freeman. Surviving are his daughter Billie Jo Sampson of Richmond, OH; four grandchildren Shyanne, Jared and Zoey Sampson and Austin Judson all of Richmond, OH; two sisters Cathy Johnson of Steubenville, OH and Patricia Sheftick of Wintersville, OH; brother Darrin (Pam) Freeman of Wintersville, OH and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating.
