Dear Bill, John and I are so sorry to hear of Arlene's death. She was a sweet girl. She and I used to talk about nursing at the reunions. Your mother used to talk to Mom and I about you two and how proud she was of you both. We weren't aware that her husband had already passed away. You and the family are in our thoughts and prayers Bill. Our sincerest sympathy and blessings to you all. Sally and John

I grew up as a neighbor to Tom and Arlene and they were always fun loving and such a joy to be around. One of my fondest memories is when we would go over to visit and if was around the holiday's Arlene would be making here one-of-a-kind creme horns. They were probably not one of a kind but at that age they sure did taste like it. Arlene would always allow us to eat as many as we wanted as long it was not more than two. I swear I could have ate the whole cookie sheet! My deepest thoughts and prayers go out to all of the boys and their spouses. I know how hard it is to lose a parent and how deeply it hurts. I know that you all have lost two parents in the last 5 years and that must be really hard. My prayer is that the God of all peace bring that peace to the deepest places of your hurt and always remember that for those that are in Christ we have the blessed assurance that we will be with them again someday.
