I have known Arlene for decades. She was a true friend to people and animals. Arlene was my neighbor and we met years ago. She would walk her dog Ruby past my house and she and I would talk about Ruby and travelling. Arlene was a veteran traveler across the US and many other countries as well. She always had wonderful stories to tell of her life and her travels. Many may not know this of Arlene but she was a musician and travelled to many countries with a well known and respected international band. She loved to laugh and talk to people. When I travelled around the US she asked if I would send her post cards of the places that I had visited. She loved receiving those cards. When I would return home, she and I would review the post cards. Many of the places that I went to out west, she had been to. And she would ask "Did you see" this or that. Her memory was excellent. I already miss her a lot.

Kim and Dow, I am so very sorry to learn of Arlene's passing. It was a great pleasure in helping you both plan your adventures over the years. We all shared such a love of animals - she was a very special person. An Angel has her wings now.

Dear Kim and family.I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a very lovely lady. I retired two years ago and would enjoy our smalltalks when she would come to the post office to see what new edition stamps had come out. Always one sheet for her and one for her grandson. He should have quite the collection by now. She was always so kind to the strays and always made sure they were cared for, as long as she was able to help. God doesn't make them like her anymore and you were lucky that He gave her to you. Sending my most heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

Kim, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mom. What a wonderful woman who allowed us to come to the pound and walk and pet all the animals when we were young. I believe she instilled in me my love of all animals..20 cats, 23 horses, and 1 crazy rooster..lol..I will always member her, your dad, and you fondly.❤

Dear Kim and Family, I am so sorry to learn of your mother's passing. She was a beautiful lady and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her. I met her through my sister Janet Ann Polverini at one of their animal events. My sister loved your mom. May God give you comfort during this difficult time.
