Arjanta M. Cole George Mansfield, 86, of Marysville, OH formerly of Bloomingdale, OH died Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Marysville, OH. She was born March 18, 1928 in Akron, OH, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Genevieve (Graham) Cole. Lovingly known as “Nannie”, her faith, love, and strength all accounted for a life that will touch and inspire generations of family and friends. Her life was a triumphant and incredible walk with Jesus. Arjanta retired from the Village of Wintersville Public Utilities in 1989. She was a member of Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, their United Methodist Women and loved singing in the choir. She was also a member of the Woodland Garden Club. After moving to Marysville last fall, she began worshipping at the First United Methodist Church in Marysville and was a member of their Women in Mission Evening Circle. She was also a member of Memorial Hospital of Union County Auxiliary Twig 8. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, William H. George, on January 30, 1988, her second husband, Dana R. Mansfield on January 27, 2014 and her son William Keith George. She is survived by her daughter, Sherrill (Tom) Harmon of East Liberty, OH, son, Larry (Debbie) George of Marysville, OH, and daughter-in-law Debra K. George of Chesapeake, VA; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and number 17 expected in October, sisters, Betty Clark and Donna Lewis of Winterville, Audrey (Dick) Poole of Beverly Hills, Florida, and Richard (Janet) Cole of Jasper, Georgia. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 11a.m. until time of services at 1p.m. with Rev. P. Douglas George officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be sent to Bloomingdale United Methodist Church, 113 High St., Bloomingdale, OH 43910.
