Argil D. “Shark” Carder, 79, of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Trinity West. He was born March 23, 1929 in Big Isaac, WV the son of the late Fred and Mabel A. McClain Carder. He was a retired millwright from National Steel Co. and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Argil was a member of Wintersville Baptist Temple and preceded in death by his son Jeff Carder on May 19, 2008 and granddaughter Tiffany Lacko.Surviving are his wife Betty L. Tucker Carder; sons Gary (companion Karen Weir) Carder, Michael D. Carder both of Steubenville & Richard (companion Diane Walker) Carder of Richmond; sister-in-law Rosemary Kenda of Dillonvale; three grandchildren Todd M., Taylor & Alexis Carder; and great granddaughter Madison Lacko.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Wednesday 7-9 p.m.; where services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with Dr. Rev. John Beard officiating. Burial at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens.
