Antonetta L. Traversa 88 of Steubenville, OH died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at Carriage Inn, Steubenville. She was born in Steubenville on September 18, 1913 a daughter of the late James & Philomena Clement DiBiase. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its C.W.C. Antonetta was preceeded in death by her husband Guy on December 28, 1979; two brothers and five sisters. Surviving are two sons Guy J. (Helen) Traversa Jr. of Wintersville, OH and Eugene (Charlotte) Traversa of Chicago, IL; one daughter Emilia “Millie” (Sylvester) DiGregory of Wintersville; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Church with Msgr. James C. Marshall officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. Vigil services 3:45 p.m. Friday.
