He walked the streets of Toronto servicing many people through the years as the friendly “T. K.”. He was also involved in the Polish Athletic Club. Sincere condolences to Tony's family. My neighbor told me yesterday that he had passed away. I did not even know he was ill. He did the rural route outside of Toronto for several years and I always enjoyed chatting with him when he pulled up to the mailbox. What a nice, congenial guy. Amazing personality. He talked so much about his parents, I remember. Another wonderful soul gone. He will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Tony's passing. Tony was a year behind me at St. Stanislaus grade school so were classmates every other year as there were two grades in each classroom. He was a terrific guy. Later, I remember him helping to decorate St. Stan's Church for Christmas. My condolence to the family.

To Tony's wife, children and other family member and loved ones, please accept our deepest condolences for the loss of Tony. He was our mailman in Toronto in the early 90s when we were first married. He was always pleasant and friendly. When he moved on to a different route and job duties, we'd still see him around town and wave. Our son attended Big Red high school and we ran into Tony at football games and even at a few of the away playoffs. We are so sorry for your loss, he is gone too soon. We hope you find comfort in the memories of the times you shared together. God bless. Hugs and prayers to the family

My deepest sympathy to all those he loved. I sure have missed this handsome smiling face walking up my porch steps to personally hand me my mail anytime he delivered and I was outside. I never failed to ask him if I won the publishers clearing house yet. He always laughed and answered... not yet. He often complimented me on how nice I decorate my porch. A good man with such a kind heart... Heaven sure did get Special Delivery! He will be missed by many.

I'll always remember Tony from my childhood as he delivered the mail and my siblings and I would greet him at the door. He was always so nice to us. Even as I grew up, anytime I saw him out, I'd make sure to say hi and ask how he was doing and he'd would do the same. He will be missed.

So sorry for your loss. He was a great person and so friendly. My husband and him would always talk about Ohio State football while he was delivering mail to our house in Toronto. We would have our grandson, and he always talked to him and would ask us how he was doing if we didn't have him that day. He also talked about his grandchildren with us with a big smile on his face. We'll miss him dearly. My husband is glad he was able to see the National Championship by Ohio State. May he rest in peace.

Tommy & Debbie, and family:I read this on the Herald Star site today and was shocked. You all have my deepest sympathy and condolences. I have MANY fond memories of Tony and the Kalinowski family on Teresa Drive. He was a good friend. One thing I liked most about Tony is that (as far as I was concerned) he was a great listener. I enjoyed talking to him because he showed a true interest in what I was saying. I was also amazed at his ability to know EVERYONE in Toronto - name, address, etc. I will always remember him and will be thinking of you at this difficult time in my prayers. May he rest in peace. Dear Kalinowski family,I remember TK as Tony.. I was a year behind him at Central and was a friend..I feel compelled to write. I was shocked to read this. I remember Tony always always laughing or at the very least, smiling. Even after all these years his laughter is as clear as the sounds I hear today! I'm sure his absence leaves deep heart ache.. And so I pray your hearts will be soothed by God and by all the precious memories and recollections that will come to mind. Sincerely, Carmen (Manalac) Rankin
