Anthony L. Pinevich, 90, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, August 19, 2006 at Lancia Villa Royale. He was born April 8, 1916 in Dillonvale, Ohio a son of the late John P. and Mary I. Hroncik Pinevich. Tony retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Cold Strip Dept. and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and St. Francis Society. He served in the US Army during WWII. Preceding Tony in death were his son Anthony R. Giovannone and brother John A. Pinevich. Surviving are his wife Florine D. Giovannone Pinevich; daughter-in-law Margaret Giovannone of Valencia, CA; grandsons Adrian and Dion; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Monday 4-8 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. David Cornett and Rev. Jack McCoy officiating. Entombment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Vigil services 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be directed to American Diabetes Assn. Ohio Valley Veterans will conduct services at cemetery chapel.
