Obituary For Anthony J. Sagrilla, Sr.

Anthony J. Sagrilla, Sr., 91, of Steubenville, Ohio died Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Gables Care Center. He was born December 16, 1923 in Cherry Valley, OH a son of the late Eumenio and Anne Dal Pos Sagrilla but lived most of his life in Piney Fork Ohio. Preceding Anthony in death were his wife Virginia Striner Sagrilla; son Roger E. Sagrilla; sister Marie Minto and brother Walter Sagrilla. Surviving are two sons Anthony (Mary Lou) Sagrilla, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA and Bob (Cindy) Sagrilla of Irondale, OH; four grandchildren, Scott (Jamie) Sagrilla of Hilliard, OH, Travis (Colleen) Sagrilla of Columbus, OH, Joseph Sagrilla of Cleveland, OH and Gina (Jon) Schumann of Norfolk, VA; two great grandchildren R.J. and Olivia Sagrilla of Hilliard, OH and sister Dolores (Egildo) Sebastion. A celebration of life will be held at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Westling officiating.

    Dear Sagrilla Family,So sorry to hear of Mr. Sagrilla's passing. My condolences. I may have met some of you at your mother's funeral last summer. I'm in Florida till March so I'll not be able to attend. I always enjoyed the decorating projects with your parents at their condo. They were so kind to me. I'll miss them.Sincerely,Jim
