Tony was a neighbor of ours when we were growing up as kids on Ohio Street in Steubenville Ohio in the early 1960's. He used to sit outside of his apartment and greet the neighborhood kids and their parents as they played outside in the summer. He could always be seen sitting outside in his chair. He always had an encouraging word for us kids and my dad spent time gabbing with him outside on the stoop. He always kept an eye out for us, and never minded us playing kick ball in the alley behind his apartment. I have fond memories of Tony and all of our neighbors from LaBelle View in the 60's. May he rest in peace, and thank God for his service to our country and for keeping us safe both at home and abroad.
