Anne M. Ayoub Devrnja 81 of Wintersville, OH died Monday, April 21, 2003 at her residence of natural causes. She was born in Steubenville, OH on May 18, 1921 a daughter of the late George and Helen Elyan Ayoub. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert “BO” Devrnja on December 8, 1998; two brothers, Ebie and Robert Ayoub, and a sister, Marian Van Benthem. She was a homemaker and member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Steubenville, OH. Surviving, a son, Dr. Robert F. Devrnja and his wife Edith of Knoxville, TN; and a daughter, Darcy D. Devrnja of Wintersville, OH; Three grandsons, R.J. Giannini of Wintersville, OH and Robby and Michael Devrnja both of Knoxville, TN; a brother, Fred Ayoub and a sister, Doris Karras both of Las Vegas, NV. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Friday at noon.
