Obituary For Anna Ruth Hanson

Anna Ruth Hanson, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio died Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Valley Hospice. She was born in Steubenville on July 31, 1927 the daughter of the late Adrian & Edith Baer Walsh. A 1946 graduate of Steubenville High School, she attended the former Sycamore Tree UM Church. She had been employed at both Jack & Jill Dry Cleaners and Richman Brothers as a seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hanson.

Surviving are her children Adrian “Ed” (Sue) Hershey, Donna (Mike) Knight, Dale Hershey & Marilyn Hershey; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Private services. Burial at Union Cemetery.

    I am so sorry to hear of Ruth's passing. I knew her for almost 50 years. She was loved my many and will be remembered by many. I am so glad my son Dan Jr was able to be with her when she passed.  She will never be forgotten.  Dan Hanson Sr
