Anna R. “Babe” Coulter, 87, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Valley Hospice. She was born June 21, 1932 in Steubenville a daughter of the late George N. & Anna M. Geroch Snyder. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and a 1950 CCHS graduate. Babe was a mortgage processor at BancOne and Advance Financial Savings. Preceding Babe in death were her former husband Thomas E. “Red” Coulter; son-in-law Stephen M. Gagliardi; brother Robert M. Snyder and sister Alice (late Joseph) Andresen.
Babe enjoyed being with family and friends. She is survived by her children Teresa A. Gagliardi, Kurt E. (Karen) Coulter & Lance E. (Erin) Coulter all of Steubenville, and Chris Ann (Bill) Garbrandt of Nashport, Ohio; eight grandchildren & two great grandchildren.
Babe’s family would like to thank Dr. John Figel, Trinity Medical Center West and Valley Hospice for providing outstanding care to their mother.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, all services are private. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.
Donations in Babe’s memory can be made to Trinty Health Systems Foundation or Valley Hospice.
