Anna Marie Watkins, 98, of Steubenville, Ohio died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon, Ohio. She was born in Steubenville on August 25, 1907 a daughter of the late John Francis and Ellen Burns Whitaker. She was a member of Calvary Fifth U.M. Church; United Methodist Women; Oak Twig; LaBelle Chapter 414 O.E.S. and a volunteer worker at Trinity East. Preceding Anna Marie in death were her husband T.F. “Fred” Watkins; two grandsons Mark Allen Thomas and Charles Lee Thomas; son-in-law Charles L. Thomas; two brothers Edward and John Whitaker; and two sisters Elizabeth Gaughan and Frances Monteith. Anna Marie is survived by her daughter Mamie E. Thomas of Columbus, Ohio; granddaughter Rebecca L. Henderson; three great granddaughters and four great great grandchildren Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Friday from noon until time of services at 1 p.m. with Rev.
