Anna Mae Remp, 83, of Wintersville, Ohio died peacefully Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 14, 1921, a daughter of the late Leo and Anna Lucy Ebbert Stauver. Anna Mae was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Catholic Womens Club, St. Francis Society and numerous card clubs. She also belonged to the Mermaids Branch of the Red Hat Society. Preceding Anna Mae in death were her husband Donald J. Remp on October 31, 1989; one great granddaughter Hailey Hepp; two brothers Harold and Leo Stauver; and one sister Irene McClelland. Anna Mae was always a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her seven children Donna (Terry) Hosfelt of Steubenville, Beverly (Bob) Eddy of Columbus, Ohio, Ronald (Mary Alice) Remp of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Suzanne (Al) Molina of Alta Loma, California, Shirlee (Dale) Deneweth of San Bernadino, California, Mary (Paul) Stead of Toronto, Ohio and Larry (Marney) Remp of Wintersville. She is also survived and loved by eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two sisters Mary Louise Zimmerman of Wheeling and Rose Visnic of Bethesda, Ohio. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Church with Msgr. Gerald E. Calovini officiating. Entombment in Holy Spirit Mausoleum at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio.
