Obituary For Anna M. Gualtiere

Anna M. Gualtiere, 90, formerly of Wintersville died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at The Laurels of Steubenville.  She was born in Cleveland, OH on November 14, 1920 the daughter of the late Dimitri and Mary Smulchak Hruschak.  Member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Catholic Women’s Club, Brilliant Senior Citizens and a graduate of the former Wells High School.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Salvadore F. “Sal” Gualtiere and her brother Joseph Hruschak.  Anna is survived by her sons William J. “Bill” (Margaret Ann “Peggy”) and Richard (Rosemary) Gualtiere, both of Steubenville; brother George Hruschak; grandchildren William (Chris) Gualtiere of Akron, OH, Richard (Stephanie) Gualtiere and Lisa Gualtiere, both of Wintersville and Nichole “Nikki” (James) Lobdell of Mansfield, TX, 4 great grandchildren.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Thursday 3-8p.m.  Funeral liturgy with Mass with be celebrated on Friday, 11a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church  with Msgr. Gerald Calovini as celebrant.  Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Vigil services at  3:45   p.m.

    Ann was a dear friend of my mother, Irma Clark. She was also a member of the Brilliant and Wintersville Senior Club. She thought so much of your mother. They always had a great time together.
