Anna L. Roberts, 91, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her home Anne’s Acres. She was born July 10, 1925 in Steubenville, Ohio a daughter of the late John S. and Esther Sutton Winland. Anna was a member of Weirton Elk Lodge #1801. Her passions were entertaining her friends and playing bridge. Preceding Anna in death were her daughter Linda Ann Kautz and sister Ruth Jolly. Surviving are her husband Robert Roberts; daughter Debra (Roger) Swopes of Whittier, CA; two grandsons Scott Swopes of Steubenville, OH and Sean (Chelsea) Swopes of Ladera Ranch, CA; great granddaughter Whitney Rose Swopes; brother-in-law Dr. William P. Jolly of Lawton, OK; four nephews and one niece. Friends may call at Dunlope – Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Monday 5 – 7 p.m. where a service will be held Tuesday 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Bob Welch officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
