Ann Catherine Balon Driscoll 92 of Steubenville, OH died Monday, November 1, 2004 at Weirton Medical Center. She was born in Dillonvale, OH on December 4, 1911 a daughter of the late Simon and Mary Remeskevice Balon. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Catholic Womens Club (Past President 1952-1954), St. Francis Society and had served the on Bishop Mussio Committee. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Robert Driscoll whom she married in 1930, daughter Barbara Driscoll Cieslak, brother Edward Balon, sisters Bertha Yannon and Albina McAndrews. She is survived by her grandchildren Michele (Pat) Kelly of Cocoa Beach, FL, Linda (Jim) Vanik of Woodbridge, VA, Michael (Chris) Cieslak of Houston, TX and Carolyn Cieslak Roscoe of Steubenville, son-in-law Robert (Rosemarie) Cieslak of Steubenville, sister Helen Crago of Weirton, WV, 4 step-grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and beloved great grandchildren Amanda and Maria Roscoe and Jacob Stachyra. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Wednesday from 5-8p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be held on Thursday, 11a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy McGuire and Fr. Stanley Zekas as co-celebrants. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Vigil services 7:30p.m. and St. Francis Rosary 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.
