Dear Pelegreen Family: We extend our sincere sympathy in the passing of Mr. Andrew Pelegren Jr. He was a very interesting person in all respects. I remember that he was an outstanding team player for Hopedale High(Comets). I had nice boyhood visits with my parents and the Pelegreen family at their farm in nearby Parlett. We had interesting conversations with "Chooch" about the bygone years at the Hopedale all classes reunions. We feel honored to have known "Chooch", his parents, brothers and sister through the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. God has a special place for him.

Tom, Darla & Kylee Ney
To the family of Sara Pelegreen: My daughter, Kylee, plays for Bellaire High School (Lady Reds' Softball). We have played for several years against Harrison Central. That is how our family met Mr. Pelegreen. We only talked casually at basketball games, softball games, etc. He used to joke with us at basketball games. In the stands, when a foul was called against Harrison, he would say something to be funny and look over and smile - you couldn't help but like Mr. Pelegreen. At Sara's softball games, I would always look for him, and when I couldn't see him physically, I would ask the Bellaire fans "Where's Mr. Pelegreen?" And then, we would hear him cheering on his granddaughters. We were very sad when we saw his obituary in the paper. I knew right away who it was and just wanted your family to know what a positive impact he made just being in the stands or sitting up on the hill at the softball games. It didn't surprise us to see what an animal lover he was and how busy a man he was. He belongs in the "elite" section of grandparents. I'll bet he never missed a game. May God Bless his soul. We are very sorry for your loss, Sara, and are praying for you and your family. Tom, Darla and Kylee Ney, Bellaire Lady Reds' Softball Team and fans
